In addition, to better understand the whole process and its details, due to the complexity of the PPP procedure, the design team had to study the laws and regulations regarding PPP.
To facilitate the task of designers, I participated in building the architecture and choosing the main directions of the project. I created a business process model of the PPP procedure. I divided it into submodules, which narrowed the task and helped to divide the entire complex process into submodules and determine the movement of the project.
Wireframing the solution
Based on the above problems identified, I worked towards addressing these pains by coming up with potential solutions.
I quickly mocked up some basic wireframes to gather feedback from the Product, Engineering and users on the overall layout and structure of the form. It involved establishing a standardized visual hierarchy and layout for the future component.
I conducted usability testing sessions with our primary users to validate whether the designs would solve their problems.
During the session, I observed how they interacted with the prototype. The usability session revealed how to improve the layout and the correctness of the PPP procedure's flow.
I created mid-fidelity mockups in Sketch. The project's first stage helped to move forward and develop submodules by other designers.
Conclusion
I joined eMJA as a product design lead. I support design across every aspect of our business and am responsible for leading UX and UI across critical parts of the problem.
I've grown tremendously in the last year, some key achievements of which I have listed below:
- Implemented a design process. It has helped our team establish more structure for how we conduct our work and allow other teams to gain visibility across our upcoming sprints.
- Established a design kit. It has helped to maintain consistency in the look and feel across different parts of the platform.
